Osaka has been known as "a town of medicine" since about 400 years ago. Many Japanese pharmaceutical companies originated in Osaka. Outstanding universities, research institutions and start-ups related to the life sciences are concentrated here.
This event allows you to meet with life science companies & start-ups in Osaka. This year, it will be held in conjunction with the ‘Health and Well-being Week’ of EXPO 2025 Osaka-Kansai. We will host an on-site business matching event for the first time, providing participants with the opportunity to meet directly with representatives from the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries in Osaka.
In addition to on-site meetings, we are planning to hold seminars at the same venue. We are currently coordinating with potential speakers who will provide useful information on building business partnerships between Japan and other countries.
After the on-site event, we will provide online business matching sessions, which can be used for follow-up meetings of encounters at the on-site event in Osaka or for remotely arranged meetings for those unable to travel to Japan in June. Online meeting requests can be sent starting on 25 June. Notifications about online meetings will be sent via the system after registration.
To set up meetings, both on-site and online or participate in the seminars, you will need to register on this platform and make arrangements in advance using the platform's features. On-site meeting sessions will be scheduled via the system, and meeting times and locations (table numbers) will be set within the system and can be confirmed via your account.
Online meeting sessions will be conducted via video call. Calls can be accessed directly through the platform and do not require additional software. Registered users will have access to the personal and company profiles of other participants, as well as to the assets, products and technologies.
Organisers will review registrants' profiles and accept them if they:
- fit the event's target mentioned below
- are complete and allow for understanding of the company's purpose and its participation goals

Participation is limited to members of Japanese and overseas companies, research and educational institutions, and other related organisations and corporations active in the subject field.(Individual applications are not accepted.)

| 24 June | On-site Business Matching Event in Osaka 11:45 - 17:55 Grand Green Osaka Meetings for On-site Partnering will be pre-arranged via this platform and scheduled for sessions taking place on-site. Each session will take 25 min followed by a 5min break. Seminars and pitch events are planned as part of the event. Remote participation in on-site sessions will not be possible. |
1-11 July | Online Business Matching Online meetings can be set throughout the period. Meeting requests will also be sent to the email address you registered with and can be synced with common calendar apps.
